My CA contacted me on Tuesday to inform me that my car had completed production (a day earlier than expected) and was en route to Bremerhaven for transport.

He said it takes about 1-2 days for it to arrive to port then it would be shipped out once an available ship arrives. I checked the vessel schedule online and it shows that a vessel is due to depart Bremerhaven tomorrow (2/7/2014) for Baltimore (where my car would eventually be shipped to).

My question, assuming my car arrived at Bremerhaven today (2/6/2014), do you guys think it's likely the car would be shipped on 2/7/2014?

If anyone is curious, the vessel is called ENDURANCE and should it not make that, the next ship departs on 2/14/2014 from Bremerhaven, the PARSIFAL (I assume the person who named that ship has a taste for classic operas).

Anything is possible but very unlikely. My car finished production on 1/17/14, and didn't get to Bremerhaven until 1/25. It missed the ship on 2/01/14, but got on the ship that left on 02/03/14. DUE in NY on 2/20/14

Yeah I figured, wishful thinking on my part.

Just hope I don't become one of those guys I've read about where the car just sits at the port for weeks.

As stated above, it probably won't make the first vessel but will "almost most certainly" (see how I worded that?) make the second.

Yeah, that would be me. My car sat there for 3 weeks waiting for a ship. Got caught in the Christmas/New Years vacation slowdown. It finally hit the seas on Jan. 14, arrived at the port Jan. 30 and at the dealer yesterday. Another day or so and it will, at last, be in my driveway. You will have better luck, I'm sure.

Haha let's hope it makes the 2/14 shipment to Baltimore with the 11 day turnaround.

My next question, since the dealership I'm getting the car from is about 30 minutes south of Baltimore I take it that it won't take very long for it to get from the VPC to the dealership in nearby Silver Spring, MD.

I am, however, getting the M Performance Pack installed at the port. You guys think that'll cause more delays? I can't imagine that'd take more than an hour max to install since it's mostly software updates and it doesn't take long to swap out an intake and put on a new engine cover.

Sorry for all the questions, I just feel like the longer I wait the more painful the wait is lol.

Customer sold cars get priority over dealer allocated cars regarding the VPC. 3-4 days from port to your dealer is about right, including any M performance installed parts.

As stated above 3/4 days from port to dealer is correct. Remember they have to unload from ship x1500-2000 cars and then sort and priority 1 cars get on a truck then the truck transports. Not as efficient as I would like as a CA but you learn to live with it.

Just select the appropriate "from" and "to" ports and it'll pull up the schedule.

The 800 number and order tracking website show that it is still waiting at the port but shipment tracking which got updated today show's that my car is on it. You can search https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage by entering VIN into the CargoID field. Wild card's also work so you could do something like WBA3%

Nice, the wait is almost over for you then.

Looks like I'll be on the PARSIFAL then come the 14th. Here's hoping I get the before March 1st (or very soon thereafter).

800 number and bmwusa(dot)com both say my car is at port, but the above info helped me to confirm my car is on Don Juan. Expected to arrive in NYC 2/26.

My car is on the same ship! Arriving Halifax on Feb 18.

My F32's production date was January 15th and it got onto a vessel at Bremerhaven on January 24th. It made it through the Panama canal on the 13th and is now heading up the coast en route to Port Hueneme, CA (Expected on the 21st). The long wait is almost over

Yeah the Parsifal got pushed back a day, so it isn't expected to arrive until the 26th now...making a March 1st delivery looking less and less probable.

Either way, the boat is roughly halfway across the Atlantic now.

How is it determined where you car gets shipped to? I live in Virginia and have a 435 scheduled to complete production 28FEB. Wandering if it will be on a ship to NY or Baltimore?
