E92 Adaptive Head light Question
My car has Adaptive Headlight... I know it will turn the Xenon a small degree...
but... this morning, i was testing the adaptive headlight.. by turning on the head light.. and park in front of a white wall... Turn the wheel to the left.... as far as I can.. nothing.. the light did not turn to left.. but if I turn the wheel to the right.. I can see the headlight swing to the right....just not to the left... is that true for adaptive headlight?

The range of motion for adaptive headlights is speed-dependent. They turn left when you're moving faster than some threshold, or the amount of left turn varies with speed.
If you watch the headlights when driving on the highway they clearly swing both left and right. I think they're set up to not blind oncoming traffic when you're pulling out of a parallel parking space. Do AHL's not swing to the right when stopped on RHD cars? |

Try it again when the car is moving, not just parked.... I think that will make a diffrence.

Drive down a dark straight road at night, and turn the wheel left and right quick... they work
You have to be going a certain speed, maybe 15 or 20 mph, but they do go left |

Mine turns when I'm standing still.

sad thing is.. it has to go back to dealer for a brake warning plus a red car lifted on warning... according to manual... something to do with break pad thin.... but i only have 12000mi on the car.. and i can see the brake pad is perfectly fine...
