I got mine at Autozone. They had a couple different sizes so I bought both. Used them in different places. When I tried Home Depot, they had no clue what I was asking for.

just make sure its not the thick 3m tape, get the thinner one so it'll look nicer. i used the thicker one on my spoiler and had to take it off cause there was a gap between the spoiler and the trunk. thin 3M is the way to go.

Test fit it before peeling off the backing. Also, line up the wheel edge first. Mounting these things properly is a royal pain in the ass. I ripped off all the included tape (alot of work actually), went to mount them, and just could not get them lined up to my liking. Next week I'm just going to bring it to my dad's friend who owns a body shop to get mounted. Don't want to damage anything constantly ripping these things off and repositioning them...

To make things easier, just spray the tape with soapy water. It helps you slide it into place before it dries.

ok guys... i just went to my local hardware store and all i saw is 3m external mounting tape. it doesnt say that you can use it for cars or anything but it says you can use it to mounting lamps or signs on houses,etc.... it has the red backing like one of the members here mentioned... hope this is the right one... didnt find anything else...
ps. if i dont use tape, maybe i could use betalink?? is that a better idea? |

Sure you can, if you want those splitters to stay on permanent... IMO I would use tapes just cuz I want to be able to remove them if I am to sell them or I want to go back to stock. Just use the 3M tape man, it holds on just fine....

I was going to use 3m tape for my spoiler (different case i know), but long told me it wouldn't sit flush to the car and I didn't want to have a little gap between the two. And to the above comment betalink isn't permanent, if you want to take it off you can its more work but it can be done.

That is actually a very good idea, how come I didn't think of it earlier! I'll buy some more tape and try it again I guess...

right... think i will just try 3m tape first.. its relatively inexpensive and if that doesnt work, i'll try betalink to get rid of the gap... thanks for the help guys !

well from what i've heard here, i am going to use tape first and see if the fitment is acceptible... if it isnt, i'll resort to betalink... i think betalink will make the splitters harder to uninstall...
