Here is a pic of the front of my car. I still haven't gotten my LUX 4.0 installed, but everything else is current.

Wow...amazing...no haters yet...I was expecting at least one ANTI-CF zealot by now.

Oh, and that is my fat ass behind the wheel of course.

CF Splitters are OEM Reps made by Carking (I don't think the OEM come in CF, but I could be wrong)
The grill is OEM wrapped in CF (Bought from someone on the BB)
Mirror covers are from Carking I think
HIDS are OEM of course (and one day, I will have them working properly)
Eyelids are an Ebay special (Hamann reps I think)

I really need to get time to install my LUX, but first I need to fix some wiring issues with the HIDS (passenger side keeps turning off on me, and my warning chime will go off from 1 to 5 billion times when I am driving)

Are you still Germany? If you, can't you just have your dealer do the formal HID conversion?

BTW, OEM splitters only come in CF

Formal HID Conversion = $$$$$$$$ or rather €€€€€€€€€ and with the exchange rate the way it is now €€€€€=$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$

As for the splitters, I just couldn't remember which way it was...thanks

LOL~ but it's better than all the error messages that you've been getting

Mercedes' xenon retrofit seems to be much easier than BMW's. I had it done to my old C320 and all it is required is version coding through the ECU.

They are OEM, but I want the Lux 4.0's installed. I am not a fan of the yellow look of the OEM Angel Eyes

When I used to own Mercedes, there's this guy named Steve from the Netherlands. He would come to the United States on a regular basis to work on our Mercedes to get some Euro options installed and programmed to work.

I'm sure there are independent shop in Germany that can take care of the problem of the Xenon conversion for you. It seems to be a footwell module that needs to be replaced and some version coding on the car. It's safer to go that route than to throw codes all over and have BMW deny your warranty claim down the road.

If you go the footwell route, you lose the highbeams. I just need to make some time to sit down and work on the head lights again.

I hear you. It sucks that BMW makes it so hard to retrofit the HID headlights. Kudos to Mercedes on that.
