330/325 Exhaust Hangers/Mount

Hi there guys,

Can somebody please help me, I have a 320d, I put a BCS back box on but now fancy a change and have a oem genuine 330d back box to keep my car looking oem!

This back box has '2' hangers on it, one on the left(which my car has) and one on right, which my car doesn't have!

Now, this mount, can it be purchased seperately and attached?! How does it attach?! Anybody got one?! Is it a bumper off job?!

Thank you

I got an exhaust shop to fit my system along with a de-cat pipe, so not sure what they done for that mount, I recall them making up a bracket at bolting it onto the 330D mount location. if the weather improves any, ill crawl under and snap a pic.

there is also another "mount" on the left front of the backbox, which seams to want to be bolted to the subframe, although mine isn't in use.

Also anybody who has a standard 330 etc if they could snap me one too for comparison!

Thanks mate, I'll pm you back now too, totally forgot I needed to reply!

Not sure if this helps. Its a petrol back box for a 325/330 but shows the mounts. They are all welded onto the back box.
I changed mine without taking the bumper off but you will need to jack up the rear on that side slightly.

Hi Alex, do you have any pics of this fitted yet by any chance? I think I'd like to do the same rather than get a 'near enough' OEM look by getting a generic twin round tip welded onto my existing standard backbox. Is your car under AUC warranty and if so, has this affected your warranty? How much of the 330D exhaust did you fit, was it literally just the rear box or more of the pipework going forward as well?
Thanks
Scott

Hi Alex, brilliant, thanks very much! Sorry didn't want to look like I was stalking you, just didn't know if PM had worked as some forums you need so many posts before you are allowed to PM etc. Appreciate your reply and look forward to the update!
Cheers
Scott
