UPDATED 2/28: Car is still available!!

For those of you that are complaining that you have a LONG wait here is your chance to get a car right now for a end of June Delivery with a great build. Time to put your money where your mouth is!

So like some of you I was on more than one waiting list. I know have an extra allocation for a dealer launch car M4 for US Delivery only and would love to help a fellow forum member stuck with a long wait. This car is a March Build with production number assigned and among first batch of US Cars. You will be among the first on the country to have this car! Please only serious buyers as I have a great relationship with dealer and do not want to waste their time. You must be ready to accept binding order immediately and put down deposit. Inbox me if Interested with your name, phone, and email and will connect you with dealer immediately.

NOTE: This is a Launch Car Build and locked already with an assigned production number. No changes are possible. This is 100% confirmed.

I'm In

I tweeted you last night. I would be interested and can make immediate deposit. Am longtime BMW customer in a Boston area, but I have no problem working with dealer in PA.

The options selected are just about what I would have selected. Color not my first choice, but I don't not like it...and better than waiting maybe 9 months!

One thing I'd like to know -- does rear seat fold down so I can fit bike, skis etc?

9 months?? I'm in the Boston area too and there are allocations available all over the place. The largest list I have seen up here is 5 deep.. In fact, I only placed my name on a list today and I'm still one of the first...

+1, it is the hype on this forum.

I called around as well and was offered #1 or #2 spot on the list of couple of dealers.

There really aren't that many people around to sign up for a $75K car without seeing it or driving it.

I am expecting to see many post like this one along the lines of people backing away from their deposits, spots etc as cars hit the dealer lots.

You misunderstood. That's the worst wait. Like I said, I called around today and I'm #2. So not sure why OP is thinking of 9 months when there's slots all over the place.

Gotcha. 2 is still a long wait considering 1 will probably be in July. My dealer has 7 in line total. Funny considering it seems if ppl shopped around they could get it sooner.

I thought you could modify an order at any time until it reaches stage 150 of production...

That is true but Launch cars are the exception. They have been locked down since Late January

First yes seats do fold down. I am also a cyclist!

If you want the car its yours! Its already locked in production with an end of June Delivery!! You will be among the first to have this car in US. You are also within driving distance and the dealer is actually in NJ so that will make it much easier. Please inbox me your name, email, and phone and will connect you with dealer to get you setup ASAP and make the car yours. Its a great build and you will no doubt enjoy it.

Regards, Suave

Is there a reason why you get the car 3 months after the schedule production start date? (June and March like you mentioned)

Just curious

Suave - do you happen to know when those orders were locked down? My dealer is claiming that they were never actually able to modify their launch car (which they sold me last year!), and I'm wondering if they just blew it and weren't aware as to when the car could be specified and ordered.

Thanks.

It takes on average about 4 months from start to finish. 6 weeks for production process, another 6 weeks for transport and US Port processing, and then final dealer delivery.

Launch car ordering began in mid December last year. There was a short time into January where changes were possible and the last change I saw was made Jan 15th. Can't say if that was the locked down date but overall it was a short window indeed.

So this is confirmed to be a March build on the Order Confirmation? Great news. I was getting worried since I sort of expected people who had secured their dealer's launch cars to be posting up their order conf. PDFs by now if the cars were already being scheduled.

Yes confirmed by dealer. I have the PDF but since this will not be my order it would not be my call to share information - buyers privilege /privacy.
