E93 with Formula One Pinnacle window tint...
Thought I'd post a few quick pics I took on the way to the beach this past weekend with my window tint finally installed. I went with 35% on the sides and 15% on the back window. I prefer to stay legal and avoid getting hassled over stupid little things.
So far I'm happy with the way the window tint came out. It's dark enough to serve its purpose, yet light enough to have good visibility at night. I had considered going illegal with 15% all around, but am glad I didn't because after seeing how visibilty is out the rear window at night I know it would have been a bit much for me, although I'm sure it would look awesome. |

I debated it for a while too, which is very unusual because I tend to get tints 2-3 days after buying a car at most. But since this is my first convertible I waited a bit longer because I've had the top down a lot and didn't miss them. But they do help keep the car cooler, especially here in Souh Florida where any little bit helps, so I went ahead and got them after about 4 months while we had some rainy weather. Quote:
Also, these tints have given me no issues whatsoever with my comfort access or navi. Everything works just like before. Even my trunk still acts up once in a while. After reading up a bit on the forums I decided to go with the Pinnacle series because some people were having issues with the Hüper Optik film and their electronics. Plus I like this one better since it doesn't have the reflective look to it. |

It'll show sometimes, when the top's down. It just gets too damn hot down here and the tints really help when the car's parked out in the sun for long periods of time. The interior gets ridiculously hot, even with the car ventilating automatically 10-15 minutes before you leave work and the reflective leather.

nice doesnt look overly dark like some of the other cars in miami... i got pulled over by a cop for having dark tints a few years back so i have since sworn off dark tints so i dont have to keep paying a $110 fine.

Yeah, your car looks great. I'm about to get one, hopefully, and like yours. I don't know all the packages and rims yet, can you tell me if those are the 19's or 18's?
