Anyone running this setup: 19x9 / 19x10.5 ?

Was looking at some Velgen vmb5 rims in 19's and they have the following specs: Velgen VMB5 19x9 +35 / 19x10.5 +45

Should I be concerned with rubbing with this setup on a F30 335 xDrive that will be lowered?

Also what tire sizes would you guys recommend to not have any issues rubbing?

I've seen a few people on here run the 20" version of these rims and slammed without any issues, but can't find anyone with the 19" setup.

Thanks in advance.

That setup will be just fine. You can run a 245/35/19 and 275/30 or 285/30 if you want the over all diameter to be less than 1%.

If you have anymore questions or would like a quote on a Velgen wheels and tire package shoot me a PM

Any way we can squeeze 255/35/19 and 295/30/19 with those specs?

By my calculations, the 255/295 combo is 100% identical to rolling diameter to the 225/45/18 that comes stock.

Or maybe on 19x8.5 +30/19x10 +40? (Essentially the same in terms of outer clearance, just more inner clearance)

I would not recommend that setup. You will be rubbing in the front and rear.

Even with some fender rolling and camber adjustment?

Hmm, guess I should just play it safe with the tire sizings, haha.

You might be able to get away with it with a lot of work but it will be an over sized tire for that Velgen wheel setup.

This wil fit easily, run stretched tires and you will be fine.

I was able to fit
20x8.5 +7 which = 20x9+ 14
20x10 +33 which = 20x10.5 +40

For reference: This is 20x10 +25 .... equal to 20x10.5 +32 (Probably the most aggressive you can go on stock camber)

245/30/20. Did he max out the negative camber on the stock arms? Have the fenders pulled?

245/30 that's some serious stretch..
camber already max out, but no fender pulling.

Rear: 19x10 ET38

Can you post more picture of how much it pokes and maybe a shot from the back.

Hi, I was also wondering the same thing. I am waiting for my wheels to arrive with specs

19x9 ET35
19x10 ET38

After doing research on tire sizes I’ve realized that the best combination for this tire size is 255/35R19 and 295/30R19. The tires are obviously much wider than stock but they are only 0.24% different from stock in diameter difference. These tire sizes are use very commonly on E9X M3 cars, but I know that they have wider fenders than a F3X does.

19x10 +38 with a 295 tire won't fit without an aggressive pull to the rear fenders. Or aftermarket camber arms

I'm planning on pulling the trigger on these wheels soon myself. Has anyone yet found any pictures with these wheels (19s) and tires on a car with stock suspension (I drive a 435 non x-drive)? I thought I had my mind made up on 275/30 on the rear, but am now wondering if 285/30 would be a better choice. I do not plan on lowering my car, but I don't want to increase the wheel well gap either.

Thoughts?

Pictures?

+1

I know the recommended size for 19s are 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.

Anyone running a bigger tire setup on these? Either same width and higher profile or higher profile and same width?

Probably apples to oranges comparison but I'm running a MORR set up with 235/40/19 front and 265/35/19 rears.

Are your wheel offsets and widths similar? I would think thy since your overall diameter is larger than 285/30/19, all should be good here... Hmmm...
