Auto door lock function not present

Hi guys,

So this post is similar to one created previously by user samchoochiu (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=954748), but I didn't want to thread jack, so I created another post.

However, after scrolling through my options on the stalk I find that I have the key icon available, but not the automatic lock icon once I click on the key symbol. Any idea why this is?

I own a base 325i, non-CA, premium pk and cold weather pk.

Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry, just realized that video was posted on the other thread so obviously it didn't help. No idea, it's there on mine.

Are you parked with the engine on? Should be under the key menu. See if this video helps any.

Yea, I am not quite sure either why it isn't present on mine. Its weird that the Key logo is there, but the auto lock option isn't once you navigate into that menu.

I'll keep poking around. The car was parked, engine on, btw.

Thanks for all your help!

Garage List
2006 BMW 330i   [0.00]
Early build 2006 e90's did not have all the options thru the stalk. Dealer or possibly someone that code can make the change.

We have an early build 2006 e90 325i and a late build 2006 e90 330i and I cannot change that option on the 325i but can on the 330i.

That would make sense SpeedBuggy; thanks for the insight. I may call my local dealer and see if it is something they can update.

Although its a "first world problem" haha I would really love my doors to auto lock after a certain distance/speed.
