E91 Rumbling noise from rear - advice please
Have a 2007 335i touring. All 4 tyres were changed from run flat tyres to conventional tyres some time ago (Falken 452). I recently changed my two rears to Dunlop Sport RTs. Not sure if a coincidence but started to notice a loud rumbling noise from the rear - the frequency of the rumble is related to the speed of the car. It is present from 30 mph and above. Took it back to tyre place who said unlikely tyre noise. They even swapped the rear tyres to a set of budget tyres and said the noise remained. They suggested wheel bearings but were unsure. Car has done only 45k miles. The noise is not related to veering to a particular side. Confused on where to go next? Does trying a set of budget tyres exclude tyres as the cause? Noise is quite irritating.

When the wheel bearing went bad on my other car, it had the exact symptom as you described -- rumbling noise at particular range of speed. Why not get it checked out?
