Cheers mate,if anyone wants a link to the eBay listing let me know as I think it's a good match to the colour Bmw use on their F series calipers.

It does indeed, the standard 'finish' does nothing for the car!

OK - dumb question here

From the paint drips, it looks like you painted it 'in-situ'. Did you?! Or did you remove the calipers first?

Cool! Well - like others have said, you've done a great job there. It'll be hard to find another mod that makes such a difference to the look of the vehicle for the price you paid

The front wasn't really rusty at all but used a wire brush and brake cleaner to get them ready for painting.Did the wheel bolts on Matt black at the same time.

Good work mate, clean and freshly painted calipers always make a big difference, I really like that blue.

I'll be doing the same on the weekend, could you tell me where you jacked it up from and what points you used for axle stands etc? I'm just trying to work out the best way to get it on axle stands without mashing up the plastic jacking points etc. Thanks!

Nice! Going to do this I think. Did you just require the one tin?

Best place to jack is the jacking point in the middle near the drain plug flap. For the rear there is a beam behind the diff, I usually jack on there with a bit of wood.

Cheers guys,like it myself.
I just jacked up on the sill blocks that a garage would use when on a ramp.once was jacked I just stuck a couple bricks under car in case it came down!
One tin was plenty still have half tin left!
