Enhanced Premium Sound with Nav only?

I specced my M3 last week with 19's, Leather, Carbon leather trim, Ipod/USB adapter, and Enhanced Premium Sound. My sales guy called me back this week to say that when he put my production order in the computer it would not take it. When I asked why he said that I could only get E.P.Sound with either Nav or something called "Technology Package". Nav alone is another 2 grand ! Is this B.S. or is he trying to milk me for another 2 grand?

Check the options list posted on the forum. It specifies what is necessary to receive EPS.

edit:

Yes, you must have NAV or the Tech Pkg. in order to get EHS.

Your salesman is correct: according to the Ordering Guide, the Enhanced Premium Sound 752 must be ordered with 609 Navigation System or ZTP Technology Package (EDC, M Drive, Comfort access, Nav).

Thanks guys- I'll guess I'll by myself a 3 thousand dollar stereo.

Can you check with your sales rep and get specs on the "base" system? If the base system is Logic 7 it is plenty for me. (and may be for you as well)But if the standard system is the 10 speaker system as in the 328...yes the upgrade may well be worth it. As far as I know for the US market nobody has been able to pin down what exactly the standard audio system will be.

Yes the standard audio is like the MSRP- Top Secret! I'm gonna go with the NAV in order to get the Enhanced Premium Sound but I must say - this is the first time that I have bought a car not knowing either the price of the car or the price of the options(although I do have a good idea on the options). But what the hell? On a positive note I have moved from #10 to #3 on the waiting list in the 8 months since my deposit- I could get my M3 in March!!!
