Car Lowered - Big Thanks to DSport/Darren

After seeing DSport/Darren lower his car and kindly offer his services to other forum members I decided to drop him a PM and arrange a day for him to fit my H&R Springs.

So last Saturday I went to his house nice and early, Darren set about fitting the springs. It was probably the windiest day in West Yorkshire but we had a chat whilst he carried out the work and kindly gave me a few brews.

Darren is a top bloke and I cant recommend him enough, if I ever need anything doing any again I wont hesitate to drop him a text. Everything went pretty smooth, one of my front shocks was really stiff but he persevered and took his time. You only have to look at how he re-trimmed his own car to know he has a great eye for detail and knows what he is doing.

Heres some pics, not the best as the lights in my car park are pretty bright!

Darren - Haha I had forgot about what your lass said!

It's fine with the works car park mate, pretty chuffed with the overal look. Should of got if done ages ago

Danzo - these were the H&R Springs that drop 50mm at the front and 25mm at the back, I'm running non runflats with a slightly bigger tyre profile

Good advice. But I would add - do the measurements first. The size of spacers you can fit varies considerably with wheel and tire type. As I found out recently - had 15mm front and rear with OEM wheels. Then fitted new tires and new wheels with (allegedly) identical offset, and couldn't go above 0mm front and 5mm rear without rubbing issues...

Ride isnt too bad, done a few trips and its fine on motorways, its a bit hard once you hit really bumpy roads but thats expected imo

The h&r's are just too low and harsh imo, anybody fancy a swap?
