Love it. The gear lever being on the steering column annoys me though.

I am not feeling this exterior design at all. Sure it will grow on me.

Far less aggressive than the current c, which I really like.

Hope it looks better with the camo off

I agree it does look "stuck on" but WOW is it big! Love the AMG logo on the screen.

Same. And agree on the gear selector. However, that might not make it to the production model (I've heard). There are going to be W205 C-Class models available with a MT (in Europe) so I'm sure there can be space for a center console-mounted shifter.

Yeah it's going to look similar to the '14 E63 with respect to the front fascia.

I also prefer the design of the LCI W204 (sharper, more muscular/aggressive lines).

That said, I just feel like that after all of the camouflage is removed, it is going to look much better.

There were some here that weren't feeling the M3/M4 when it was still clad in camouflage. However, after the official reveal, people started to get used to it.

I am very excited about the F80 M3. I hope that after the reveal, I can be equally excited about the W205 C63.

I'm just waiting for build slots to open up....That's the only thing holding me back right now. Not feeling the F80.

Very nice! Your impressions/review will be a factor in determining whether I hold onto the W204 for a few years more or go after the W205.

Full reveal could come as early as April (New York).

I'll make sure I post a full review. I'm excited. It'll probably get here quicker then the Macan Turbo I had on order.

I don't see a great selector anywhere in those pictures. I see what is the wiper stalk on the right side of the wheel

The wiper stock is on the left hand side of the steering column in all Mercedes-Benz cars.

If you look closely, you can see the park button on the end of the stock.

The gear selector is on the steering column for the standard W205 C-Class.

It is unclear where the selector will be on the finished version W205 C63 AMG. They had a lot of cloth camouflage over the center console. The gear selector spied in these pics *could* be non-functional and just a remnant of a standard W205 C-Class steering column. These are still only test mules, after all.

New Mercedes's have an electronic gear selector and they put it on the column.

The wait is killing me and I'm still undecided hah. I can only imagine how anxious you are at this point. The Macan Turbo is a beast but the W205 undoubtedly will be quicker.

I really hope there is a small console shifter like the E63. The CLA45 has a console shifter.

I don't know why for the life of me they don't make this car a bit bigger.

Because that's what the E63 is for.

This car needs to be wider around the wheels to allow for fatter rubber. The F80 looks better, for sure.

Perhaps. I'll wait until the camouflage comes off.

The W205 will be faster, for sure.

This thing better not have the shifter on the column. I drove a CLS550 not to long ago, not a fan of column shifter. Actually would be a deal breaker for me, weird I know. As far as styling. I will reserve final judgement when all the camo comes off. But right now, the fender flares are looking a little weak. I will be waiting for the coupe version, for a sportier look. Have been anticipating this car, not interested in going to a 6-cylinder with the new M3.

I like how they cover up the Mercedes badge and the Brembo printing.
