My New Wheels - with pics!

Summer's coming they tell us, so time to re-fit summer tyres and some new wheels. Comments welcome.

Yes, I know they're 'common' CSL reps ('boring' some of you will say). And yes, some will say 'should have gone for 19s', but I wanted to preserve ride quality. I think I'd have preferred slightly duller silver, rather than the glossy 'hyper silver', but overall I'm pleased with the look...

I like! I'm looking for a set of exactly the same. Are yours a staggered fit?

Yes. Offsets are: ET34 front, ET37 rear with deeper concave at the rear.

I guess you'd need a Touring-specific. Check out SSDD's website:

http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/

Wheels were from BMAutopsort:

Looking good mate, well done for sticking to your principles and getting what YOU want. People say CSLs are common, and on forums that is the case, but in the real world you don't see that many about.

I would probably add some spacers if I was you, give a fuller look to the car.

I totally agree, I had 15mm spacers front and rear with my OEM wheels. But sadly, although the new wheels were supposedly identical offset to my OEMs, I had serious rubbing issues. I had to reduce to nil spacers front and only 5mm rear, otherwise the tyres rubbed on the wheelarch liners on maximum compression.

This is exactly what I needed to see how 18" csl reps looked. I would like them for my E91 and everyone pushes you in the 19" direction. What are the wheel and tyre specs please?

Looking very nice! I did exactly the same, previously was on 19" MV4s with non run flats and lowered on H&R Springs. Ride quality was terrible tbh.

So i "downgraded" to 18s and ride quality is day and night difference
