i3 drive event!
We got to test drive the i3 3 times!
Great driving experience! Great design! There was quite a bit wind noise... I like that is all electric.. I'll give it a 4.8 out of 5... If they fix the wind noise it would be a perfect city electric car! |

Could you isolate where that wind noise was coming from? Mirrors, a leaking seal on the door(s)? This is the first comment I'd heard relating to that, and it may have been the vehicle. Were you in the same vehicle each time?
I'd guess that some of that was because there is no ICE noises to mask it. |

I heard it from the windows and doors... Kind if all over above 55mph... I felt like I was in my f30... Noisy... I drove 2 different i3... Both cars had less than 1k miles... I don't think they should've done that...

Interesting...my dealer's i3 test drives aren't until May...guess they are slowly moving north as the weather is getting better. I'll have to see for myself.
My biggest concern is still getting in. I'm pretty sure there's enough room once inside, but I do not bend very well anymore, and need a decent sized height from the seat to the roof and door opening, and many vehicles have a pretty large lip to the roof there...okay once in, but do it more than a few times, and it really hurts to bend far enough to get in. I'd really like it to work for me, as over 90% of my driving is short distances, and I do not like all of those cold starts on my ICE; I'll save it for those longer trips, or where I need to carry more things or people. |

The things I disliked: nothing, really. This is a (A) two-people (B) luxury (C) city car. If people understand this clear concept then they would not complain about (1) back seat/trunk space, (2) price, (3) range. Our family of two drives a 2013 528i (lease end in 2 years) and we are planning to get a X5 next month. When the 528i lease ends I will probably buy this car. Unless, of course, Tesla come up with a cheaper addition to their line-up. |

It's a great car! Like really! Feels comfortable and feels safe and very unique! I would buy it! Just test drive at high speeds to ensure there's not wind noise... Love the i3!
