It's time to give Thanks......
As I sit here in my comfy desk chair leaning back, I kick my feet up on the desk and ponder a screwed up and hectic week. Tonight I was finally able to sign into e90post for the first time in a number of days and much to my surprise I was greeted with a ton of great stuff to do during the holidays and even planning for the beginning of next year already.
So in the spirit of giving thanks, because it is that time of year, I figured I would start a thread for some of us to thank others for their hard work and for whatever else we can think of. Let me start by thanking the guy whose name happens to be all over the local forum these days, pseto. It seems you've got your hands full right now.....thank you! Ase, KL2DC, Scottz, Frankq, & Iatacs...You guys have done a great job of keeping this group busy this year. We actually have a community now that is big enough to probably stick together for a while. Thanks! ....And last, I would like to thank, while not encouraging in any way, Spool for his non stop adolescent behavior. Without you, and Swoop to some extent, we would be a group of sad old men wandering around in search of burritos and beer. At least with your antics it keeps it interesting. Oh, I also want to thank Motorola for the headset which Frank will never take off! Anyone else have something to be thankful for?

So True... I think the highlight of the season for me was being in a small coffee shop standing at the bar waiting to take the ferry over to an island near Venice while watching Kimi take first and Massa take second. It was downright incredible to watch a crowd of 25 men, glued to a busted up, old, static riddled, 20 inch TV, as they were all drawn to jubilation with Ferrari taking the One-Two victory, the drivers championship and the Constructors in that final moment. It was fantastic and to be is such an obscure, but relevant sort of place, made it pretty neat.

thanks F1. Its been pretty hectic trying to get everything setup, but its well worth it. Plus I took the job to help us have more fun
As far as giving thanks, the friendships from DC Metro is what its all about.

I give thanks to my family, my friends, my health, my life, my ridiculous golf swing, my ever-so-saweet ride and my extended-family of E90Post.com.

Nice idea for a thread. I'm thankful for having made so many friends here fueled by the sharing of our initial common interest. Having had the chance to meet many of you is a big plus!

It's all fun and games until we only have enough money to bail one of you out! It's like I tell my kids....It's not a competition to see who can make me lose the most hair. Just cuz Spoolio does it doesn't mean swoopio needs to....and VICE versa!

Great idea Ed...
I give thanks first and foremost to my wife, to whom I owe all the great things I have in life. I give thanks to the founders and true souls of the BMW community (Ase, Donny, Tman, Frank, Paul, Dani, you all know who you are...!) This is a great outlet for auto-related passions, and I am thankful that you're all good people... I give thanks to God, for my health, and continued prosperity; and to this great country - where gas is $4/gal, but I am free to choose where I get my gas, and am provided opportunity to afford the gas. We're all blessed to be able to play with the toys we do...and to be able to get together and enjoy the spirit of those toys... Happy Holidays to all.

Oh, and after paying almost $9 a gallon on my trip, even $4 seems like nothing. It will be back down to $2.50 if we get the dollar back some day!
