Brake job in San Diego?
Anyone know of a good place to get my front brake pads replaced at a reasonable cost in San Diego? I would do it myself but unfortunately my apartment complex is extremely strict about working on your car otherwise I would do it myself. I appreciate any help. Thanks -Dan

Dan, if you'd like to do it later in the afternoon or evening during the week you're more than welcome to bring the pads and such to my place in Ramona. That or early on Saturday April 5th. There's no reason to pay someone to do the brakes if all you need is a place to do it. I presume you're talking about replacing pads only, no rotor related work. I've got a piston compressor and should have all the tools for this job. Feel free to bring any tools you may want to along with your pads, a red scotch brite pad and maybe some of your favorite DOT 4 brake fluid.

Like mentioned above. You can do it on the street if u need to. Most important is to make sure you have the tools to do it. Good luck!
