Black 330I Badge - OEM? Where?
Hi all.
First (of many probably!) questions... I picked up my first BMW in January - a pre-LCI 330i E91 M-Sport in black. After a few reasonably modified cars the plan for this was to leave it be but I can't help myself! So, starting off small, I quite like the ideal of giving the car a pretty subtle/stealthy (I'm not going to say murdered!) look and I've seen a few cars on here running black badges. Are these OE items as I can't find them anywhere? Looked on eBay and worried about the quality. All I want are the 330i ones - anyone know where would be best to get them from? Cheers Dave |

Got my black 335i badges from BM1 Centre.com if you type BM Ornament in on google scroll about half way down the page until you see their eBay store then you"ll see all you want to see.
Order in line you'll get you parcel in around 3 to 5 days. The other option you've got is to do what I did with my old 330d Very simple to do a bit of emery paper satin black and a light lacquer coating and your home and dry and you've done it yourself Last edited by old grey steve; 03-27-2014 at 05:23 PM.. |

I took the badge off my car. Why would people want to know what engine is in my car?! I might get a badge on the back saying leather, just so that people know what my seats are made of!

I've no idea why anyone would want to know what engine is in my car but I'll forward your comment onto the worlds car manufacturers and let them know they're doing it wrong because nobody cares
Cheers Steve - I'll check out BM1Centre.com. |

That wouldn't work anyway as BMW have chosen to badge the 318d with a 2.0d engine so they have got a clue

Another option is to Plastidip your badge. It'll cost you about £15 for a rattle can which will give you a nice matt black finish.
By using plastidip you have the added benefits of not needing to remove the badge from the car and also being able to peel the plastidip off when you come to sell the car or get bored of the black Give it a google..there are plent of guides on youtube. |
