How to beat speed cameras.
How fast do you have to go to beat a speed camera?
If you want to avoid a speeding fine then don't speed - simple. But it seems there may be another way to avoid getting snapped by a speed cameras. Physics students at the University of Leicester have discovered that you can escape detection if you drive past a speed camera very, very fast. So fast that the camera does not see your number plate. So what's the catch? Well it seems that for this trick to work, you'd need to be travelling at one sixth the speed of light, or 119 million miles per hour.

It depends on the type of speed camera, I remember them trying this on MythBuster and they worked on a system where the camera only needs 1 picture.
I do not think they managed to go fast enough to avoid getting caught. However in the UK I believe 2 pictures need to be taken. Along with the lines on the road and the time stamp of each picture the speed can then be worked out just from the pictures. I heard that over 160 Mph you would be going fast enough that you would be out of shot by the time the camera took the second picture. |

Best way to beat the camera, will never catch you, if you find out the speed limit, then, drive slower than it!
It's crazy, but works |

Or go paint all the white lines black it wont be able to give a distance and time between the lines as there wont be none, simple
I do have a question though, near mine is a 40mph road with a camera if your coming head on to the camera doing anything over 44mph it flashes, why and how does this do it? Ive been driving with the camera now facing the rear someone coming head on and its flashed me but obviously i didnt make the lines quicker than the time so no ticket etc???
