Best ODB reader

Guys I'm after a good ODB reader to pair up with my iPhone to check engine temp and any fault codes.

What are you guys using?

just general OBD diagnostics though and no coding options, torque is like dashcommand but i believe torque is a bit better

torque is really good but it's geared up for fords and mazdas .. Doesnt work very well with bmw's ( at least my pre '07 e92) as i can only get basic information ( engine temp , boost pressure and the ususal stuff the phone calculates ) .. can't even read EGT which for me is a BIG
I've scoured the torque forums to see why BMW's lack full support .. still no further , i've heard they use proprietary memory and codes , how that fits in to the OBDII compliance is still a mystery to me

Apparently post '07 CANBUS cars have more info available

yes, it says to email the guy. It's also $30 usd on Amazon. I have the version 1.5 ebay dongle that cost $11 shipped. I'm convinced his version 1.5 dongle is exactly the same.

The elm works but I couldn't code the seatbelt reminder out using it so I took a chance on their own obd adaptor and it worked , they tell me that there will soon be an option to code DVD in motion too , link to their wifi adaptor here http://www.ivini-apps.com/apps_detai...at_iphone.html
