Possible to code out roadworthiness/vehicle emissions warning?

Hi guys,

I've already searched the forums for an answer to this, however couldn't get exactly what I was looking for. My predicament is that I did some coding on my car a couple of months ago, however since I did so, it introduced an SS symbol (roadworthiness/ vehicle emissions warning). I was just wondering if anyone knows where and what the specific code might be for this warning and if it is possible to code it out?

My car is an Australian spec car and we don't require emissions/ roadworthiness testing every year.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Has anyone attempted to pull the codes to see what (if any) was present?

Are you referring to error codes in relation to the emissions warning?

I don't currently have any errors or warnings being shown in relation to the roadworthiness option being enabled

It's a good idea though!

Hi ivtecc,

No, I'm actually referring to a SS symbol that you get that indicates "Emissions and roadworthiness test being due. I think I accidentally added the value the first time that I coded to the KOMBI Module. The last person who used the program must have been from America or somewhere else where this is necessary.

Dtype has provided me with so much help and he was able to figure out that CBS_STAT20H was what I needed to code out in order remove the entry. CBS_STAT20H needed to be changed from anzeige (display) to sperre (hide).

I'm sure this will be handy for other people who encounter the same issue.

Thanks,
Ryuun
