Car went to status 150 and VIN number assigned!

Very excited that it's started the production process, but no indication on delivery time frame yet.

Yes to both. It's my US dealer's launch car.

US Customer Allocations have been released today. This is official for many US buyers. Launch Cars have moved into 150 Production Status and US cars are in status 111.

Got my Production Number today also. Tried registering and putting the number on the BMW owner's site. However; the site returned a could not find error. Maybe in a week or so it will show and I can start tracking.
By the way when the dealer gave me the production number, he said my order had gotten move up to the #1 slot. I was originally #3.

Is anyone worried about getting a launch car. Do these cars sit on showroom floors and have everybody in and out of them.

This is true.

Found an "oldie but goodie" link to help track your car. Some things are out of date, like the website, but other things still work, such as the phone number. I called the number and talked to someone who confirmed that my order was accepted, which corresponds to 111 status. He said that the only thing he could confirm was that I ordered an M4 and that the order was accepted. He didn't even have the numeric status codes that most people refer to on this forum.

Not true with other dealers though. I got one for May as well as many others

Actually the car won't be in the showroom in my case. The dealer is selling me the car BMW allocates for them to have one on the showroom floor, but they are selling to me and I will get it without it ever being on "display" or having anyone touch it other than whoever does the prep for delivery to me.

Went on MyBMW on bmwusa.com today and got some progress in tracking my car. The website accepted my production number and "found" my car. But it only can tell me that it's a 2015 M4 and the color I chose. Can't seem ti find a "track my vehicle" option. Anyone else stuck?

Nevermind...it looks like you have to sign out then sign back in to see the timeline. Awesome.

Just checked mine and my production # was recognized

For those of us with May builds, I wonder if that May 15 date (which had been thrown around with the Canada folks) would be the last date we can make changes to our order. I would definitely omit the LED package if the M Performance Exhaust was recognized on the Order Sheet. You can now residualize the entire amount!
