Refuelling 330d

Anyone else having a minor issue refuelling their cars? I don't seem to be able to completely fill my 330d without some diesel 'spitting' out of the filler neck before the pump cuts out. I've had a close look at the filler and all seems to be in order, the only difference between my E90 and previous BMWs is that the pump hose nozzle doesn't seem to go as far in, it is restricted by the plastic guide/insert. Anyone any ideas?
