Cheap SE Aero Lip Spolier
Hiya
Has anyone used the "cheap" SE Aero Lip Spoliers available on a popular auction site? I'm sure they will be fibreglass rather than plastic so won't be as good. But are they bad? Anyone had problems? Cheers Dave |

Just bought a cheap lip from an auction site should be with me next week so I'll let you know.
It's not from a shop but from someone who bought it and never fitted it tho so not sure if it's plastic or fibre |

Hi Drobbie,
As promised an update on the lip I got from fleabay. It's fibreglass and in all honesty looks a bit ****. It's primed and ready for paint so I'll probably get it painted and see what it's like then. Fitment isn't perfect, having held it up to the bumper but I know the bodyshop I use will easily sort that. I do think it would be worth spending a lot more if you're looking for perfection - I might not use this if it's not great when fitted. Hope that helps, I'll post a pic if I fit it. 'V' |

Got mine new, painted and delivered for £35 from BC Moto.
Condition was perfect in my opinion and the fit is as good as it gets. I just asked him to mark it as low value / gift to avoid import tax |

Now I'm all confused. - I may have got the wrong end of the stick with this thread - oops!
I thought we were talking about a front lip spoiler If we are on about a front lip then my earlier post stands. If not then I can agree that bc moto is awesome as I have a performance lip from them (plastic and painted £52) Sorry for the confusion - I'll get my coat! |

Yeah me too!!!
Think I'm gonna leave the one I got, I'm a bit fussy and I'm not 100% happy with it. Looks like I'll be getting the credit card out of retirement and getting one form SSDD or mstyle |

If so, I got the performance lip from bc.moto and have to say it looks awesome for the price. Going to fit it this weekend (hopefully!) Bc.moto really are excellent to deal with, prompt responses to questions, will sort out the colour if it's not on eBay, quick delivery and kept informed all the way - brilliant!!!! |

Got mine in titanium silver to match the body colour. Have to say the colour match is pretty spot on.
Delivery took about 5 days, he does quote 5-10, guess it depends if he needs to get one painted or of its already done. Tax - thought id escaped as there was no note on the parcel - letter arrived today with a £10 charge (bugger!) happy to pay it tho as the spoiler was cheap and is more than good enough to go on my toy |
