Earthquake installation

Has anyone done the earthquake sws under seat installation on a later car? I know there is some good guidance on this forum however I have a 2011 model. I started my installation this morning and have noticed the subwoofer housing to be slightly different and the 4 screws to remove the speaker from the housing has been replaced by two clips. It looks like the speakers have been glued in to the housing as pressing the 2 clips does not give any movement to the speaker! Can anyone confirm this or am I missing something?

Just taken the other one out and I can confirm that they are glued into position! I have managed to remove them but they were a right bitch!
