Does KAS have a competitor? (56k warning)

I was just walking by the other day when I saw this. It looks like a hybrid of E39 and E36 with some kind of weird mix of mods. I especially like the asian characters on the hood and the one-wiper windshield, a very nice touch!

I think KAS has some serious competition here...

It's the Frankenstein of cars. OMG. It has a mesh covering the slats on the front grille. The hood has one air intake (I guess that's what it is, a nostril maybe?), where clearly you would need another on the other side to balance it out, at least visually. Maybe that's the need for 4 fog lamps in the front. Also, it has 2 antennae, one on the roof, and one just below on the rear window.

And is it just me, or does the back passenger door have NO handles? In fact, neither does the trunk. And there are lights on the side mirrors, like a Mercedes, for a touch of class.

i guess you could say that it's an engineering marvel...maybe you have to pull on one those rings on the hood to open the doors and the trunk

Looks like a Euro-spec bottom of the line commuter Beemer gone dreadfully bad. Can't emphasize enough about the disturbing pics above...

what about the front though? and no door handles? and the mercedes mirrors? how the hell did they do that? i'm really surprised that people that can pull something like that off can't do something that is actually worth the money and time spent doing it.

My old 1993 E36 316i had drum brakes at the back and solid discs at the front. Believe it or not, the brakes were still very good, probably because it only weighed 1230Kg.

no door handles and license plate hutch = clean style

the doors and trunk are to be opened electromagnetic (in theory). Thats a quite popular mod in germany, but not as crappy as this one.

The headlights are e46 facelift xenons, as far as I see. And the mirrors are aftermarket m3 style mirrors with added indicators, yummy...
