Hello all,

After having to trade in my Scirocco which was out of warranty and knowing what it feels like to have to bear in mind the fact that any malfunction will cost me an arm and a leg at a dealership to resolve, I upgraded to a BMW approved used E92 325i M Sport.

It came with the complimentary 1 year BMW warranty and MOT cover as well as road side assistance.

An additional 1 year warranty was quoted at £670 (give or take £10, I can't remember) but when I went to collect the car and pay for it I managed to bag 2 additional years of BMW warranty for £647.50!

I felt this was too good to turn down and paid for it. I have no knowledge on the BMW experience with these things to can anybody shed some light as to whether or not this was a good deal?

I think that's a very good deal. Normally the warranty will get more expensive as mileage creeps up.

So a 3 year BMW warranty for £1340 or £450 ish a year. Total peace of mind and no repair bills. Result I say

Mine is due for renewal end of June so will see what they want to renew. I've had £3500 of warranty work done last year on my roof alone so I'm quids in

I managed to get a free 2 year warranty from BMW on my AUC, I'll defo be extending it when the time comes, gives great peace of mind.

Op, I'd say you got it at a decent price, I remember the dealer saying to me the cost to them for a 12 month warranty is £600 so the dealer has made very little on your 2nd year

Thanks guys. Just to clarify, the first year was free, I paid £647.50 for the next two years so a total spend of £647.50 on 3 years. Considering it's a BMW warranty I am more than happy.

That is a helluva deal. Mine is due in May.....i'm curious to know what your mileage is as well.
