Steering Wheel Airbag

Just checking, airbag on my Sport wheel is same as M Sport and M3 wheels?!

Going to pick up a new wheel and don't want any issues!

99% sure but would like reassurance!

Ok next question....

The DIY's seem to be a little misleading about how you tackle the airbag. I guess once you feed the screwdriver in its quite easy to feel how you release the airbag. Any tips though?!

When you pick your new wheel up you will see where it releases, practice on that one a couple of times at hitting the clip

It's fairly easy. As Dsport says have a look at the new wheel first to see where the slits in the leather are.
Use a flat head screwdriver with the flat end horizontal and NOT vertical. Take a little bit of a push to get it to pop the clip but you'll know when you're in the right spot cause the airbag will move - you'll know what I mean when you do it

Defiantly a mod worth doing, changed my SE wheel to an msport at the weekend
