NAV with addresses on Highway 7 ? ? ?

I've had BMW NAV for years and now that I have moved to Markham, I find myself trying to locate many addresses that are located on Highway 7. However, I am unable to enter a street address whe ni have selected Hwy 7 as the street. Does anyone else have this limitation? Is there an update available? Am I doing something completely wrong? Hwy 7 is WAY too popular for it simply to be "unmapped".

Also, as a side question ... does anyone know how you can view the NAV map, WITHOUT entering in a destination? In the Z4 there was a button to just display the map, but I cannot find the equivalent menu item in the 335i.

scroll all the way to the bottom of the nav page...and turn the knob to the right. it should say display map in north. any of those options should display the map. play around with it...

Isn't there another name for Hwy. 7 in Markham?
Queen St. perhaps?

I've put in addresses on hwy 7 before and I don't remember doing anything odd to do that.

As for getting to the map as others have said on here there is no single button to do it, either on the nav screen the bottom section has dispaly map, or voice recognition and say 'map' or 'map facing north' should get you there.

Boith map tips worked for me. Thanks a lot.

As for the Hwy 7 issue ... I select the Hwy 7 and then the "House Number" entry field is "greyed out"/disabled.
