Been reading the forum for a while, finally decided to join!

I'm currently in the market for a 428 xdrive and was trying to gauge how much off MRSP/above invoice I should aim for. I'm looking for a MG with premium package and was initially quoted something like 54'900 including dealer fees, before taxes.

Is that what everyone else is managing?

Hmm, for the best deal, you should try out all the GTA dealers to see who wants to offer you a decent & fair deal. The 4series is a hot car (at least when it first came out) and you should be shooting for like 6% off the configured MSRP + any factory incentives.

I believe there are no factory incentive, if there are none to be offered and at the same time the dealers are not discounting much at all, you should consider ordering the MY2015 instead, given there are only two more months left on the MY2014. In other words, you don't want to pay full retail price for an almost 1 model year old car.

Hm, I hadn't considered the MY2015s - I figured they would be at dealerships in September - October and that was a little outside my ideal timeline.

Are there any significant changes from the MY2014s?

Usually, the MY2015 ordering guide should be out in around mid to late May.

You will probably see some optional upgrades to become standard equipment but of course, it may mean a bit higher price reflected as well for the MY2015.

If you order in June, you should get the car in around early August.

For my bimmer, I ordered in June and the car was at the dealer in mid August.

I will be heading to BMW Budds Oakville soon to see what kinda deal they would offer on 435 xdrive. I busted my lease on 335i about a month ago which I got from Mississauga.
Mississauga rep said he will give me the best deal (really?) but as usual they want you there. This time I want to take time. Not sure there will be any loyalty discount on 4 Series.
