Rear deflector delete?

Anyone know if these exist or are in the works?

I worked up some paint magic. I think it looks good. The red is half and half to give perspective.

You mean reflector I assume and not diffuser? Check with Andrew at IND I'm sure it's already in the works (see commercial classifieds exterior for contact info). Curious to see how install would go, having to pull the diffuser would be a bitch.

lol yes, reflector...my brain does what it wants, sometimes.

I was wondering about installation too. If it is integrated too well, it would suck. I just think the look is good and more seamless than the orange reflector mods, which I can't get myself to do. Something about it from up close and seeing the lines bothers me.

Assuming you can get a decent color match that's 100% the easiest option. If it sucks you're out $5 and a little time.

I really don't think the lines will bother you after 5 mins unless it becomes some weird OCD thing. The headlamp washers etc already have lines around them. In any case it's a million times better than the orange.

+1 for plastidip on these parts
You want to flow with the diffuser by going black color

I agree. I think it looks better than trying to hide them.

That looks good. I am a bit OCD and will probably want to try to color match the diffuser color. Plastidip with a paint match could work, so that I could reverse it later. Just peel off the painted plastidip. Thanks for the ideas.

I have a Matt diffuser on my car now so the plastidip blends in quite well. You can always plasti dip first, then get a can of dark shadow paint and spray over it. And since you have plastidip under you could still peal it off to reverse it back to red or peel it off and try again.

No sense in not trying the plastidip first. If the match isn't perfect you can always paint later on but matching the diffuser color could be tricky there as well. Even stock at least they match the tail lamps so not horrible. You could also plastidip the entire diffuser as well to get the whole thing perfectly matched. That's probably the simplest way to go

The front is also infinitely better / easier to fix now that the reflector is on the bumper and not buried in the headlamp assembly.

Just came across this great thread. Can someone confirm or deny that the rear reflectors are part of the diffuser? I am asking since I will probably get a different diffuser when upgrade my exhaust and well I don't want to buy the IND deletes and then not need them.

Thanks in advance!

They are independent of the diffuser.

So if I get a CF diffuser from IND it would make more sense to get a color matched rear delete in the body color (Black Sapphire Mettalic)

Just confirming my suspicion. anyone else do this?
