Brakes & Pads
I just did the rear brakes on my 07' 335i sedan. Used Brembo UV protected rotors, Akebono Euro Ceramic pads, Beck and Arnley sensor and Beck and Arnley retention brackets.
Burnished the pads and rotors by running up to 60mph and then steadily applying the brakes to about 15mph (8x) in a row. This was method was suggested by Akebono. Breaks are good to go. Smooth as silk. It will take about 1000 miles for the pads to really truly be broken in. Total cost was $200.00. |

Bought the rotors from Bav Auto. They had a deal. The rest was on Amazon
Best thing to do wood be to go to Akebono's, Beck & Arnley's, and Brembo's website and get part numbers so that you can verify and double check on Amazon and Bav Auto prior ordering. |
