If you want it to use with any speakers at home just buy an Airport Express

if its for your car... i just use my belkin bluetooth adaptor. Its awesome... same quality output through my car speakers as if i was using a wire connection

Its for the car just seems a simpler answer and provides lossless standard playback

Big difference in audio quality between bluetooth and steaming through wifi which this is. I run a direct usb connection but will be buying this also. Lots of people recommend it and its cheap!

You can mod an Airport Express to run in a car, but it costs more than this, and is bigger.

Upside is it will also work as an AE, as it is one, you just need to give it 5V.

I just run a 3.5mm, I already plug in a lightning cable, a 3.5mm isn't much more of a problem.
