Haze on the inside of headlight

When I got my car both lenses were a slight haze.

So I used the 3M kit with a drill attachment.

I got about half of the haze off however it looks like the inside of the lenses are hazy on both.

Anyone ever see this?

I have never seen any condensation inside the lenses and the outside is smooth post 3M treatment.

Do I need to remove lenses and try the 3M on the inside?

You can try and polish the inside first. It might be better to replace the lens with a new OEM one. A new lens will cost more but the look of it will be better than polishing it. Hope this helps.

are the lenses easily replaceable like my e46 is? I was under the impression that you had to bake these to take the lens off

Not sure about if it's as easy. You just have to heat up the adhesive to remove the lens. I usually use a heat gun but baking it would work just fine.

Elliott,

Thanks for the response!

Unlike the E46 I was under the impression that you cant buy replacement lenses for the E90.

If anyone knows of any please let me know.

I will open these up in the next few weeks and try the polish on the inside.

I have the Same Problem,
Got a cheap Halogen Headlight from ebay for 65.
Tabs and some other stuff broken, but the Outer Lense Cover is PERFECT conditions with 0 road rash damage.

I will be opening my head light but practice on the Halogen first.
Tried to look for covers only, but no one is selling them.

Battlefield 4 !!!!!!

But on topic this really seems like a burn coating on the outer lens man and if so it can be polished and resealed.

I have tried my best with the 3M kit and drill adapter.

I cleaned them up quite a bit but not all the way.

I might pony up to see if a pro can do a better job on the outside before I go to the trouble of removing the lenses.

OT: Are you on PS4 with BF4?
