How does the Adaptive M Suspension work?

I understand what Adaptive M Suspension does, but I don't understand how it works, on the new M3. If you did order this option would you able to code the computer to lower the ride high of the vehicle? or does it not even work like this.

Thanks for the help.

It's not air suspension, just shock valving adjusted by various dynamic parameters. These are the basics of the system, though the setting names have changed on the F80.

good post, greg

I find it surprising that there is no mention of the dampers being "dynamic" in sport or normal mode

the dynamic functionality is really the only reason I am ordering this option, and what makes it really valuable IMO

That tech bit is not M specific. Be assured the dynamic functionality is there.
