Soooo...! I had never debadge a car Before and my Cousin Dimitri has done it a Dozen times....He Came down last week to spend ThxG day with us and said he was going to debadge the car and that he also had a Surprise.....ok.Well...Come Friday morning he was up and bright and ready to debadge the 3er, went downstairs at the garage and started working, the time was 6:35am and..I told him i would rather make some coffee and watch the news if he didn't mind, he said not a problem and being there after all might have spoiler the surprise?????....(OK Just don't scratch her, PLSSSS) 30 min went by and he was back...Wow you are done already i asked, and he said Ready to see the Surprise I got you ???..well, got my slippers on and went to the Garage.......wow...Not only he Debadge the 335i...he went out of his way to order the //M badge and //M License plate cover for my car and had it installed as a surprise...Stunned as i could be and seeing how happy he was, I said.."Man that look....Great, THX "...Well, Now that he left i was thinking of taking the //M Badge off....But...It has kinda grow on me??????...I Will keep the License plate cover...BUT Should i change the //M? After all, like he said. It DOESNT say //M3, it just says //M, which stands for motorsports.....pls, give me some honest sensible opinion....Should i leave it, or should i ditch it???

I'd get the suit ready. The choice is ultimately yours, though.

that's not a 'good' surprise, it's like going to the doctor's to get your inflammed tonsil checked out and ended up getting a rectal exam as a 'bonus'

ditch it. Only M cars deserve the M badge on the back.

if you get the M package, lets say bumpers, steering wheel, shift knob, sill plates, floormats etc etc. then i'd get the M badge...
the 540's had the M logo on the steering wheel, mats, shift knob etc.

yeah, why put M badge on when it's a 335i. Leave the M badges on when it truly is a M car.

I am on the fence with this one, PancakeWafflez. I don't have any problem with M parts being on a non M car and labeled as such individually, but when you put the badge on the back, it's implying to me that the whole car is an M car. There is so much more to what makes an M car than those parts and packages.
