MG M235i plastidip black stock rims and mirrors

Took my MG M235i for a spin today. And boy did it cope well with a thrashing. Anyways, ended up at this gorgeous lake. Had to take some photos. Enjoy!

Nice!!!

Can you take some close up pics of the rims and mirrors?
How many cans did you use to cover everything?
Do you know how easy is to take it out?

Are you plasti dipping the crome grill ?

Yeah I'll take some tonight and post. I have a thread in the wheels and tires section with some more photos. I used 5 cans. Very easy to peel off. Plasti dip is not quite as black as the gloss black on the car so I'll probably go for m performance grills from bmw dealer

just as a warning about the plasti dip: i had my diffuser plastidipped at one point, few years ago and had kept it like that for 2 years, the heat and sun must have baked it on, because to get my diffuser back to normal i had to have it completely refinished, it wouldnt peel off at allll

Moral of my story, i'd recommend redoing it every 6 months to avoid this happening!

Thanks for the heads up! Ill probably get the rims painted in gloss black anyway. Just wanted to see whether black would be good. And I love it

Glossifier... I heard it will give you additional shine and protection. It is a Plastidip product.

Wish could get it closer to the gloss black but still looks so good

One cool trick with Plasti-Dip is you can use regular paint over it for different color/look. It doesn't peel super clean but it will come off even with regular paint on top.
