Bad to have stuff in trunk?

Hey guys this might sound like a stupid question, but I am leaving school to go home in a few days and I have started packing my car. The suitcases are pretty heavy and I can clearly see the car is lowered down a little bit in the back. It's not like scraping the ground but it looks a little bit lower. Is it bad or have an effect of longevity of the shocks and or springs to have them compressed like this for a prolonged period of time? thank you

as long as your not exceeding the load rating of the tires and cars load rating you should be ok.

I don't believe that I am exceeding the load rating, I just don't see having the shocks and springs compressed for like 3 days won't have any effect of longevity on them.
