Challenge - Stainless Steel Brake line kit for F22 M235I - NEW ITEM!
New Item for F22 M235I - Challenge Stainless Steel Brake line kit
These are the first set we just finished up. We will be keeping this on the shelf for all you M235i guys. Our F30 customers that have essentially the same brakes report much better pedal feel and more linear pressure. Same attributes were reported by our F10 M5 customers as well. A must for anyone taking their car to the track or just wants smooth consistent braking coming into the turns on spirited drives! This full stainless steel line kit for the M235i replaces all your flexible brake lines on your performance car. We retained the stock line configurations and mounting points for an OEM quality fit and finish. Challenge uses stainless steel braided TeflonŽ hoses. Each line has a clear coating protecting it from any of the elements. Stainless steel braided TeflonŽ brake lines will not expand or contract under braking. This results in a vehicle with less brake pedal travel, without locking the brakes. All parts and components are DOT approved. Made in USA and includes lifetime warranty! MSRP: $115.00, Free 2-3 day shipping within the USA Please contact us or any Challenge dealer with questions! |

I would be interested to get the feedback of any M235i owner. I'm not happy about the pedal feeling of my M235i and wondering if this + Motul 600 brake fluid will make them little bit better.

Everyone we have sold the lines to for the new F chassis car all report better pedal feel with out lines. F30 and F10 guys were most vocal on it in other forums.

It won't. Get upgraded pads and fluids over this. The stainless lines won't hurt but they won't increase bite much at all.

Perhaps you are mistaking the ability to modulate the brakes well for being "bad"? Most cars have over-servoed brakes which give the illusion of being good, but really are not. The car stops and stops hard when you lay into the brakes.

For instance the Mercedes A45 AMG brakes amazing compared to M235i brakes I'll order the steelbrake lines along with a brake fluid change. At the moment I'm on Porterfields R4-S which have better modulation than OEM and they hold pretty good at the track. Just a little noise on the street at very low speeds |
