They rebuild them so there is no difference to them...the core charge is $300 for your turbos. I bought a set of functioning turbos from this forum to use as the cores for my RBs and I paid $225 shipped and Paypal'd.

I'm negotiating above $400 on here right now for my turbos. Also, they are on ebay, and are heating up for $570. I'm watching both ebay, and this site. First buyer with nads, gets em.

That's nice, but these are my only spare. If I choose to keep my 335I longer term (currently at 118K miles), and my oem turbos go, then I'm screwed. So for me, I'm starting negotiations @ $570, not $300. One thing to note too is that, unless RB guaranteed you that they changed the turbo bearings (highly unlikely) when they did their upgrade, then you sir, have re-manufactured, "used" turbos, which you are no doubt going to try and sell for over 3K, some day soon.

With the amount of stock turbos rolling around its easy to get a set for 300, but good luck either way :P and to your comment below, RB fully tears down EVERY set they get, they wouldnt be able to sell theirs for that price with original bearings. Should do some research before you slander a company :P And i dont even have any myself.

Since you're not interested in buying these, then why the negative pricing comments masked as bargaining.

Look man be as mad as you like, I am here to get good deals, and If i get the option or chance to help others save money I am going too. We are a community here to help each other, not try to get people to overpay on anything.

So if i see any thread and i think the price is going to be way higher than any fellow member needs to pay, I am going to post on it.

You dont want people to comment, try to price it with the others, or just deal with the comments.

Next time you dont like it, i'll even link people to the cheaper ones.

buddy, end your post 2007-personal recession, ok? There is a reason why I put this on ebay, before even coming here merely to test the waters. Guys in Taiwan are all over these on ebay, cuz they are modifying them, and turning around and selling them for a profit. So, if a guy in tawain has no problem coming up with $570 US, and you're over here in the US, pathetically struggling to part with $300 dollars, then it's a sad, sad reality for you sir.

When I was a "kid" no one questioned our economy, but if the game is now how to hoard green paper, and take as much of it as you can to the grave, then move over. It's great that you could score a similar item at a much lower price, but unless you can link us up to a place currently selling it for that price....you should not use the price you paid as a VALUE of the item.

I understand everyone wants to get the best bang for their buck, but if you are going lowball him, why don't you just give him a PM? some people just lack of decent manner nowadays.

No disrespect as I'm not trying to stir things up, But You just said it yourself, so why not just help both the OP and the potential buyer and stay out of a FS thread that clearly states " If you don't like the price stay OUT" If someone wants to pay $570 for a turbo that is worth $300 so be it
