Satellite radio without executive.

This is possible to install correct?
If so... does any part of the dash have to come off? Id hate to take apart the head-unit area etc on such a new car and risk creeks etc...

Talk to your dealer, push if necessary. The standard system just needs recoded, once it arrives at the US port, to activate it. Nothing needs taken apart from my understanding.

My dealer said it would cost roughly $800 to install.

I've heard the same number, but it is really coding. Keep in mind that the executive package reduces the cost of the leather as well as gives you sat radio. Once you consider this, you might as well get the other goodies in the exec package for a bit more.

You can retrofit Sirius for a fraction of the dealer price:

Your car will be coded to activate Sirius and this option will show up in the iDrive.
