I think of it this way
If I had a BBK, i'd def clean it. And while you're there....no one likes dirty metal that should be shiny Approved for sure!

I always jammed my hand b/w wheel spokes to clean my retrofitted Akebono calipers on my G35 whenever I washed my car. BBK's look so purttyy when they are clean! Too bad I won't be doing BBK's on my e90. The wife does not approve.
