Just picked up my 08 335xi coupe and already ordered a longtran Aero kit painted and painted reflectors. Getting it tinted tomorrow, debating btw 20% and 35%...I had 35% on my 04 G35 and it was plenty dark. Think I'll stick to 35 to keep the po po away

Im very surprised at a few things, the license plate lights look like LEDs and are very bright and NOT yellow at all. The cars ride height when compared to a 335i at the dealer was identical (they were side by side) and I had read that the XI is higher. Overall I love the car!! I will post pics once I get the car tinted !!

I just got my 335xi in October...love it..and yes, they are the same height. Per BMW web specs

If you get the 335i 18" factory wheels, it looks even lower for some reason..

ps get the front aero bumper spoiler, it will look awesome

^^cant wait to get it on. i feel I am modding too fast...the G35 took me a couple months b4 i was comft. modding. This car I've already got tint, front aero lip, reflectors...god stop me...

although tint and reflectors are hardly mods...same w/ the aero lip...

Vehicle Height
328i/355i = 54.1 inches
328xi/335xi = 54.9 inches

xi's are .8 inches higher

Look in the latest 2008 3 series brochure on page 24 from the download PDF file on bmwusa.com.

Yea yea, I know the website has them as the same but that has been the same since they announced the 335xi coupe and haven't updated it since. If you download the brochure you will see otherwise.

im going to the dealer to measure for myself. Ground to highest point in the wheel well and tire to wheel well gap on both. I 'll post my results, I dont believe the BS some ppl post around based on what they have 'heard'

I measured it at the dealer when I got my car. The XI was slightly higher.

that is not accurate, the sidewalls and wheel are different on the xi to the i.

I don't think the specs on the web site are wrong. If you have someone that put the 18" that come with the i on the xi, you will see they are the same..
