Best Tread Life?

Need to replace my rears... I've been getting almost 6 months on a rear set (6-8k miles). Anyone doing better that can offer up recommendations on tires. I've got a staggered set of 19s on sport suspension.

I do some spirited driving, but I'm more interested in longevity than performance.

What size tire, etc?
I doing much better than that on Falken AZENIS PT722 A/S.
I run 235/35 in the front and 275/30 in the rear on 19's.

They are W rated, quiet and handle well.
If you want a gumball, this isn't the tire.
If you want a good all around tire with good grip and wear, this is it.

I recently got Michelin Pilot AS3's. Tread wear=500. Supposed to last 30,000 miles. Less if your car is tuned. Night and day improvement in traction in dry and especially in the wet compared to my Bridgestone RFT's that came with it. I drive the piss out of my car and couldn't be happier with how well they perform. Unless you track the car I think you'd be hard pressed to push them to their limits. Everyone on the board recommends Michelin PSS. While I'm sure they are absolutely amazing I never come close to needing MAXIMUM GRIP. Tires are expensive and I searched for a good while to find a compromise. I couldn't be happier with what I have.

TL : DR

Michelin Pilot AS3's. Tread wear= 500. Better ride. Better traction in dry and wet. Good looking tire overall.

My sizes are 225/35/19 and 255/35/19 currently. I hardly push my car through corners, but I do let her rip on straights.

Go wider to a 235 and a 265 or 275.
Get Falken or the Michelin.
