Porsche makes nice stuff..
Why can't BMW make a decent set of rubber matts?
All of their parts are really nice.

If I recall, the rubber mats I had in my 135 were nice - slim, effective, and fit nicely.
In the M5, I feel the rubber mats take away from the luxury aesthetics. I planned on getting the stitched, logo versions, but realized that I like that the basic carpet ones do not draw attention to them (they blend in). Get dirty? I'll buy another set. Now, perhaps in the roughest winter weather I will throw some rubber mats in the front.
