Bronze/copper, why is it so rare? how to make it yourself?

it seems like dark bronze or copper colors are very rare indeed. i was poking around tire rack for my 328 wagon and only found five gold wheel designs, no bronze of any kind.
they're even pretty rare on craigslist, and generally only in wheel diameters of 19 or 20"

can anyone suggest a better source of these?
or possibly suggest some good colors for painting? either plastidip or rattlecan or powder coat.
plastidip might be nice since i can peel it off....but the only "bronze-like" plastidip color is that vintage gold, and i'm not sure if its possible to "darken" a plasidip shade...?

Your best bet is probably powdercoating the wheels you want or if you want a real copper color check out the mrr gf6 in copper they're pretty sick also vossen has their new flow formed wheels in satin bronze.

Plastidip do a copper colour. If you use this over black base you can get quite a nice Bronze look. Have a search, there are plenty of photos/videos around. Link

initially i didnt have much luck looking for mixing colors by changing the base color, but apparently those dipyourcar guys did an entire episode on the many kinds of bronze by using different base coats
