Can staggered wheels and tires be put on a 2010 328i xDrive? and whats the maximum sizes?

Yes you can. Just try to keep the diameter between front and backs as close to the same as possible and don't exceed 1%.

235/35/19 and 265/30/19 work well, but you can go bigger.
OEM spec is 225/40/18 and 255/35/18.

Use the tire rack tool at the top of the page to test sizes. use old tire and new tire as your front tire and back tire.

I highly recommend looking through this forum at other peoples setup and find one you really like. I'm running 285's on the rear and love them. I have seen 305's and it looks like we could fit a 315 on the rear. The only problem is finding wheels with the correct offset to fit that size. I really considered going that route on my xDrive, but the wheel selection sucks. 285's are plenty of meat in the rear. 245's are common on the front, but there are a few 255's and a 265 out there.

Yes, you can definitely run staggered wheels and tires on your 328i xDrive. One of the most common tire size combos would be 235/40/18 or 235/35/19 front, and 265/35/18 or 265/30/19 rear. Tire sizing really will depend on what wheel specs you're running though, as there are other sizes that can also work. As long as the difference in the overall diameter is less than 1% between the front and rear wheels, it will work.

I'm running 18x9 ET 31 245 front and 18x10 ET43 275 rear. fits easily. I might even put a small spacer in the rear. No problems. Just make sure the rolling diameter is less than 1%. A lot of threads about running staggered on xdrive.

First starters you are in NYC where the roads look like the surface of the moon, especially in the winter. I would not go with anything over 18. The setup I am running is Front 225/40/18 and Rear 255/35/18; as some one posted above this is the setup BMW recommends. So best bet is to go with that and have peace of mind.

I didn't mention to keep in mind with a 328 too much rubber = slow car! make sure wheels are light.

For rough road areas I would agree with the recommendation of 225/40R18 front and 255/35R18 rear.
