Killed a HEMI
So I was on my way to dinner tonight and I took off from a stoplight a little quickly. Well I guess the late model 300M (with a HEMI and at least an exhaust) next to me thought I wanted to race, so punched it and between the traction control and a rough road, I couldn't close the gap- just maintained it.
At the next light, I turned off the DSC, brought the RPMs up for a perfect launch (just the right amount of wheelspin) and dusted him. He couldn't close the gap and I was actually pulling away a little. I think he was a little miffed when he saw my license plate frame...

I saw how you blacked out the TDICLUB on the top of the plate frame, very cool...I use to have a plate frame I got made on the internet that said SMELL MY DIESEL, My VW had all exhaust removed, smelled like a school bus...

Yeah, I worked over one of the newer r/t models pretty good. Didn't brake boost or really plan on racing so he started with a car length or so before I was in it, by 70 I had pulled it back and put a good length and a half on it. They aren't slow by most measures, I think they would match up well with a stock d or maybe with JBD at 0%

True most of the time, but nonsense when they are racing you. Generally I'm the slowest one off the line so I get to see how excited most drivers are to get to the next light and for the most part they are VERY excited.

Ditto. So much so that I just bought one myself.
Nice kill btw ewodzien. I did the same to a Infinity G37 a few nights ago. Had a full car by 50-60 then let off since we were coming into traffic. |

Car and driver shows them as 12.6 1/4 mile at 114. That's not much faster than a d with 100% jbd and meth. At 114 though it would be out trapping the d by several mph. My 12.9 was only at 106. Other mags have reported only 12.8, not terribly impressive for 470hp/470lb ft and 20mpg on the greatest day. They announced a supercharged 6.2 good for likely well over 600hp, that thing oughta move nicely
