Which Interior trim should I go with?

I'm going back and forth between brushed aluminum and aluminum hexagon. When I see a picture of one, I'm kind of like "damn, this looks nice, this is it!"...until I see a picture of the other trim

What did you guys pick? Any lesser known facts about one or the other? For example, is one more likely to scratch?

I already ordered brushed aluminium but my car is still a few weeks from being built so I have time to change...I have Coral Red.

I went back and forth between the hexagon and fineline trim and ultimately decided on the fineline trim. I wanted some sort of a luxury feel to the car so naturally I went with the wood trim. I'm glad I did as it blends in with the interior.

Hex looks the least made out of plastic.

The hex in my 335is looks sweet. The hex in the new 2 series looks cheap in comparison. I'm going with brushed alum.

The difference is the old hex was more raised. I compare it to snake skin. The new hex is like fish scales. Not as impressive.

I went with the hex, nice little textured feel when you look at it. You can always just wrap the interior pieces if you don't like it!

I like the hex also. Especially with the blue accent on my EB M235i.

I have brushed with Coral and love it. It's all what you like not what everyone else likes. The blue trim with Coral would look like shit in my opinion but you can sub gloss black for the blue trim on Hex. I had wood trim on my E93 and it looks classy but not like a sports car. Can't really go wrong with any except if you get the wrong trim pieces (blue vs gloss) with the Coral interior.

I have MG/Coral with the Hex trim originally. Too bright for me and grew tired with it after just 2 months. Purchased the Carbon/Alcantara trim kit and much happier now. The carbon/alcantara steering wheel really pulls it all together. Full conversion including steering wheel and automatic trim was just under $1800 shipped. Self-installation help reduce some of the cost.
